Community Project, Richmond Emmanuel Church.
2023
This project fosters intergenerational connections within a church community through participation. The modular wordmark, combined with children’s art, forms a dynamic and inclusive visual system.
E for Emmanuel (Hebrew: עִמָּנוּאֵל, meaning, "God with us"). The crucifix connecting the arm and leg of the E represents the divine and human join through Christ.
Congregation participates the making of the mark, in both print and moving versions, representing the dynamic demographics.
Kids work collaboratively to create the illustrations.
Eventually the illustrations are applied to different merch.
